As of March 7th, 2022, the Volition Collective will no longer accept new clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage.
This is an unfortunate situation that we have taken every measure to avoid, but unfortunately, it wasn’t avoidable. Moving forward with BCBS would put our practice, staff, and clients at a disadvantage.
In short, they made a mistake on their end and were unwilling to compromise on the matter to resolve the issue. As a result, we decided to make this decision to leave the network.
It is understandable how difficult it can be to find affordable and accessible mental health treatment. We do our best to offer affordable quality services, and we make them as accessible as possible through our office hours and payment options.
We appreciate the support and loyalty of our BCBS clients! If you currently see one of our therapists and have BCBS, please speak with your counselor about the next steps and update your information with an appropriate payment method and coverage. If you choose to stay with your therapist, we can provide a superbill that may benefit you if you have out-of-network benefits or a health savings account (HSA).
