Hello! I’m Eduardo
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Eddie Hernandez graduated from the University of North Texas in Dallas with a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology in 2016, and he has completed his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Megan Pickens, LPC-S.
Eddie lives in Duncanville and has two dogs that enjoy walking in Cedar Hill Preserve. In his spare time, he enjoys being creative by drawing, writing, and using textiles as an artistic outlet. He enjoys a friendly competition with friends playing Uno or other board games, has an eclectic taste in music, and enjoys going movies and foreign films.
Approach & Values
Eddie believes in a creative approach to counseling and pulls from a varied interest of different counseling theories. Looking at how culture, irrational beliefs, and worldviews play a huge part in people’s lives and well-being, Eddie will take all information gathered to assist in the goal setting and behavior changes to help clients reach their fullest potential.
